13th Art Walk Of Competa

We are pleased to inform that between the 16th and 18th of September, the 13th
edition of the famous Artwalk Cómpeta will take place.

Hours: 16th September 11am - 7pm / Siesta 2 - 4pm 

17th & 18th September 10am - 7pm / Siesta 2 - 4pm

During this event the local artists exhibit and sell their unique works in various places throughout the whole pueblo. This year’s edition looks especially promising as we received a particularly large number of submissions.

Cómpeta itself is well worth visiting. Located at the verge of the Natural Park of Sierras Tejeda, Almijara y Alhama, with its white tidy houses, charming narrow streets full of flowers, and imposing views to the sea and surrounding mountains, it provides an unforgettable experience. When strolling around, you may arrive at the main square with its church and very unique bell tower, visit the famous Casas Colgantes hanging on the rocks above the valley, or drop into the Museum of Popular Arts and Customs. And don’t forget to stop at the one of the bars or restaurants for a delicious meal or drink.

Admission to the Artwalk, as usual, is free of charge. We cordially invite all art and music lovers to come to
Cómpeta in September and meet its artists, admire their work and listen to the live concerts during those splendid three days full of art.
