In summer, wearing shoes on this beach is a necessity because the grey sand becomes really warm. There are quite a number of grassy areas where you can sit down and relax beneath the green palms. Umbrellas and sun loungers are available for hire, near to the beach front. The facilities are complete with public toilets and showers discreetly placed for your comfort. There is also an area where children can play and unwind. In addition, a football pitch and fitness track can be found on the sand of the beach. There are well skilled lifeguards constantly present to keep a watchful eye on you and your kids, making the clear seawater both safe and refreshing. There are quite a number of Chiringuito’s, but no water sports operators. Good wind and water conditions for surfing, kite surfing and windsurfing are available during winter. Also during the summer months, you are guaranteed to have a good time because you will meet a lot of Spanish families. There is also Red Cross present on the beach. Finding a quiet spot on the beach is really easy, especially when certain parts of the beach get crowded.
