Playa de Ferrara 

Playa de Ferrara is a long beach and is located in the small Andalusian town of Torrox. El Faro lighthouse stands on a short breakwater that borders the beach to the east. There are coloured sands ranging from grey to beige and it covers a huge surface about 30 meters. It is around 45 minutes from Málaga.


From the month of May to October the sun loungers are available for hire. Rented loungers combined with sun umbrellas produce a colourful picturesque view.

Torrox-Costa which is a former Roman trading town and it is located adjacent to the beach. A few left over ruins from the ancient world can still be seen here presently. Modern, souvenir, multi-storey, hotel, restaurants, apartment complexes, cafes, and other shops can be seen along the long beach promenade. Other facilities include a fitness trail, beach equipment, children's play area, bike hire center, clothing, volleyball court, souvenirs, football pitch and lots more. Everything possibly needed by holidaymakers can be easily located here.

People with limited mobility can also access Playa de Ferrara because of its moderate waves, it is also appropriate for paddling and bathing. This family beach harbors sunbathers from various parts of the world. It is easily accessible and during summer months the beach gets crowded but there are areas for relaxing if you need peace and quiet. The longest beach promenades on the Costa del Sol is the Playa de Ferrara, and it attracts tourists from every part of the world especially during summer months.

This is an ideal family beach where you will see German, Spanish, and British bathers.
